A Unique Experience

This video marks the end of what was a fun and exciting project under the guise of a university film/video class. I could reflect on what I like to think we accomplished as a group in the last few months, but, If I've learned anything, it's that words are more fun when they move....

This is a weird sort of kinetic-typography-video-advertising-experiment (fun term) made up of recycled audio from a promotional vid I made a while ago (back when i didn't know how to record audio well, apparently). Created in Illustrator and animated in After Effects. Musical end tag is from "Dot" by Loop Tape at podsafe Music Network. Farewell Class, hello summer.

Under the Table and Dreaming

Another project from FIlm/Video Art class. Inspired (loosely) by Wassily Kandinsky. A huge thanks to my family for helping me with this. I shot it at my parents house from under a glass table with a sheet suspended above. The various colorful objects are leftover childhood play things I dug out of closets. Music wass mixed by DoKashiteru at ccMixter.

Bringin Down the House

My Alternative Spring Break Trip finally went down last week. We demoed a row house in Baltimore for for a non-profit called the People's Homesteading Group. We saved them an estimated $5,000 in costs. Check out my Flickr for more Alternative Breaks pics in the days (/months) ahead.

Alternative Weekend

Took a trip to Challenge Mountain this weekend to work with people with special needs. They are a wonderful organization with some great innovations that enable everyone to enjoy a little alpine.
